who is fieldey?
Fieldey is Haylee Fieldes, a highly skilled Australian muralist and public artist with over a decade of experience creating large-scale murals and public art projects across Western Australia and internationally. She began her artistic journey in the vibrant world of surf and skate art, becoming internationally recognised for her iconic cheeky surfboard artworks. Her early works, shaped by the raw energy of tattoo and surf culture, laid the foundation for her distinctive style. Over the years, Haylee has evolved into a renowned muralist and public artist.
Haylee's work is renowned for its striking blend of black and white realism and abstract mural art, creating powerful visual narratives that are deeply connected to the places and communities where they are located.
Previous to her art practice, Haylee had an extensive career in corporate graphic design and was trained at the prestigious Billy Blue School of Graphic Art in Sydney. Her experience working with high-profile clients and brands has equipped her with strong skills in project management and client relations, as well as the ability to efficiently deliver complex projects on time and to budget.
With a background in illustration, mural painting, graphic design, and community engagement, Haylee brings a unique set of skills to every project. Whether designing a mural or large scale-perforated screens for a public space or working on private commissions, her artworks are always bespoke, engaging, and reflective of the spirit of the communities they exist in.
Haylee is based in Perth and accepts commissions Australia-wide and overseas.
